Wellness Tips for Hair and Skin

Summer’s Here!

Hair and Skin take a beating all year long, but extra exposure to water and sun in summer can really take their toll. The tips will help put Wellness in your summer and keep you looking your best.

Hair: Wear a nice, big floppy hat. Keeping the sun off your hair (especially when wet) can help prevent bleaching, fading and even unwanted texture changes from becoming severe. Besides hats are in, so go with it!

Skin: You should also keep skin covered but don’t assume it is completely protected. Some of the sun’s damaging rays penetrate clothing too! Best bets: Shower and shampoo immediately after swimming, wear reflective clothing and wear your vitamins – C and E – which have been shown to help to stop Oxidation (read more) on skin AND hair in its tracks.
